Darwin Correctional Centre

Function Main reception prison in the Northern Territory, services most of the northern and metropolitan regions. Holds illegal immigrants and is a general processiong point for those subject to deportation.

Wilderness Work Camp

Function Provides a more open environment, which has proved beneficial in the management of detainees from remote Aboriginal communities. The main focus of the Camp is reparation through work for the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory, other government agencies and service clubs.
