This conference was organised by the Australian Institute of Criminology in association with the Australian Institute for Gambling Research.




This conference will examine the key regulatory and social issues relating to the gambling industry in Australia including: regulation from both industry and government perspectives; Internet gaming; social impacts of gambling on Australian society; legal and criminal justice issues; smarter regulatory strategies; controlling the technology; liability and privacy issues; international perspectives; and future directions.
