Effectively engaging the Muslim community continues to be a priority for police agencies. 

In this presentation, Dr Adrian Cherney explores how police community relations can affect community willingness to cooperate in counter-terrorism efforts, drawing on data collected from Muslims living in Australia. It is tested whether procedural justice policing can help enhance Muslims living in Australia willingness to cooperate with police. Implications of the results for community-based approaches to counter-terrorism are considered.
