The Australian Institute of Criminology in conjunction with The Department of Education and Training and Crime Prevention Victoria announces The Role of Schools in Crime Prevention Conference.

Speakers include The Hon Andre Haermeyer, Minister for Police and Emergency Services Victoria; Margaret Shaw, International Centre for the Prevention of Crime Quebec Canada; Jan McClelland, Dept of Education and Training NSW; Dr Bruce Chapman, ANU; A/Prof Ken Rigby, University of South Australia; Wim Ruijsendaal, Amsterdam School Safety Project; and, Carmen Domingo-Swarts, CSIR Crime Prevention Centre South Africa.
