Abstract
The design of offices and workplaces can have an effect on levels of client aggression. This chapter provides background and advice on a range of design issues which should be addressed in planning a workplace. These cover: corporate image, ventilation and thermal control, seating, colour, light, toilet facilities, client access to staff areas, counter and interview room design, entrances, alarms, and routing of clients.
