Abstract
The information provided in this issue shows a reduction in the number of deaths of indigenous people over the previous two years but an increase in the number of deaths of non indigenous people. The paper provides statistical breakdowns by State, form of detention, Aboriginality, age, manner of death, and offence leading to custody.
