Abstract
The compilation reports on different types of recorded crimes, their place of occurrence, victim details, responses of criminal justice agencies and data on government resources directed to deal with crime. For the first time this edition includes figures on fraud and cybercrime. This publication uses statistics from the AIC as well as data holdings at the Australian Bureau of Statistics and other government agencies.
