Abstract
This chapter concentrates primarily on describing how the family group conferences in New Zealand operate. It described the Youth Justice Coordinator's role and how family group conferences are organised, including how they are set up, who attends, how decisions are reached and what options there are. The views of young people, families and victims who have attended are also presented.
