National Committee on Violence publications and reports
The National Committee on Violence was established as the result of a joint agreement between the Prime Minister, the State Premiers and the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory at a meeting held in December 1987. The Committee's establishment was announced by the Federal Minister for Justice, Senator Michael Tate, in October 1988.
The Committee published a variety of publications on various aspects of violence in Australia.
