Abstract
This book is based on a report of a project partially funded by the Criminology Research Council. It looks at changes which have recently occurred in this area of law and practice in Victoria. The legal and criminological aspects of on-the-spot fines are examined, along with the broader implications of the surveillance techniques upon which these measures largely depend.
