Abstract

Bloor outlines the history of dealing with HIV and AIDS in South Australian prisons, as well as current policies and strategies. She believes that the South Australian approach has had mixed success and that more work needs to be done in the following areas: dealing with fear; communication; specific prisoner management; and education.
