Gaughwin focuses on how to determine the extent of risk behaviours in prisons; the behaviour of HIV infected prisoners; evidence for prison environments facilitating risk behaviour; and the possible future of HIV infection in prisons. The appendices contain a number of statistical summaries compiled from international research.
