Abstract
Schurr discusses prisoners' rights enshrined in international and domestic law. The main issues in relation to HIV/AIDS infected prisoners are: the right to treatment; the right to refuse treatment and testing; confidentiality of documents and information; segregated versus integrated accommodation; and the concept of civil prisoners.
