Abstract

The difference between success and failure in a fraud investigation is good management. The four key questions are: what do you want to achieve; what resources do you need; how are you going to get the evidence; and are you going to make sure you can use the evidence. Detailed information is given on the processes involved in managing an investigation, how the relevant legislation is applied and practical points for prosecuting or taking civil recovery action.
