Abstract
Kutchinsky outlines the historical development of pornography as well as its place in Danish society. He then examines the effects of pornography on sex crimes, in particular rape. He reports on a study of rape and other sexual and violent crimes, in Denmark, Sweden, West Germany and the United States, and concludes that the availability of pornography has not led to increased sexual violence.
