Abstract
This paper provides a descriptive overview of a pilot project on local crime prevention undertaken by the Waverley Municipal Council and Fairfield City Council. Hogg concentrates on two areas: the major activities, or subprojects, undertaken in each council area; and the major issues and problems raised by the project. He also indicates a number of achievements that came out of the project for the two councils involved.
