Abstract
In Victoria, crime prevention currently involves an array of diverse measures, programs and activities, often developed in a pragmatic way, sometimes linked, sometimes in conflict and of varying duration. McMillan primarily describes activities which have been implemented by the Ministry of Police and Emergency Services, including some projects which are jointly resourced with other government departments or non government agencies.
