Abstract
Following the increase of street crime in the Rundle Mall area of the Adelaide's central business district, the Inner City Cooperative Action Group was established to develop strategies which would lead to a more effective crime prevention program. Paterson outlines lessons which were learnt about community crime prevention initiatives by the Group and its subgroups, the Youth Coordinating Committee, the City Watch Group and the Urban Environment and Crime Prevention Group.
