Abstract

The development of a tamper-resistant drug exhibit bag by Techsearch (in consultation with the National Police Research Unit) forms the focus of this paper. Berwick describes various design and security features of the bag, comments on its current usage, and discusses future initiatives. He notes the main advantages of the audit bag as: improving evidence controls; reducing disputed evidence; and enhancing the professional image of policing.
