Abstract
In addressing the issue of increased risk of adverse health effects arising from exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation, this paper draws heavily from the experiences of Telecom Australia. It discusses the Australian RF Exposure Standard and health studies on exposed populations in Australia. Joyner relates this information to law enforcement policies and procedures. He notes that specific operational procedures may need to be introduced with the use and maintenance of some equipment to comply with the Australian Standard.
