Abstract
Tate discusses the issues of prevention of crime and diversion of young offenders from the Commonwealth Government's perspective. He considers the victimisation cycle, looking at young people as victims of violence; strategies of crime prevention for young offenders; and the amendments to the Western Australian juvenile justice legislation.
