Abstract

The National Homicide Monitoring Program collects information about the characteristics of homicide incidents, victims and offenders. This chapter presents data from the Program, in graphical form, concerning the number of incidents and gender of victims and accused persons from 1989-90 to 1992-93. Graphs are also included showing the relationship between victims and accused; firearm related homicides; and the place of occurrence of homicides.
