Abstract
Tables and graphs showing numbers and rates of property crimes (break enter and steal, motor vehicle theft, stealing, arson, malicious damage, fraud) and violent crimes (homicide, assault, armed and unarmed robbery) reported to police in yearly increments from 1991-92 to 1995-96 are presented. Tables are provided for Australia as a whole and each of the States and Territories. A short text indicates the trends shown by the statistical data.
