Abstract
The extent and relevance of repeat victimisation in Australia is examined using data collected in crime surveys. Data is presented on the percentage of victims according to the number of incidents; the numbers of victims and crime rates; and the number of incidents by offence type. Figures showing the distribution of incidents of property crime and personal crime relative to the number of victims are also included.
