Abstract
How organisations respond to commercial crime is the focus of this paper. It identifies the scope of the problem and details a number of ways in which those who manage organisations are best able to deal with it. Smith considers why fraud should be reported to the authorities and describes ways in which organisations can be encouraged to report economic crimes to police.
