Abstract

A national survey of Australians which canvassed alcohol and other drug related assaults, as well as the reporting behaviours of victims of violence, has been conducted. In presenting the results from the survey, this paper aims to determine the extent of alcohol and other drug-related assaults that are not reported to police and to identify factors that may underlie the non-reporting.
