Abstract
This paper analyses the problem of burglary and outlines some practical countermeasures to reduce the incidence of burglary. Grabosky suggests that a risk management approach which identifies vulnerable premises, individuals and geographic areas, and develops appropriate interventions, is likely to be the most productive strategy.
