Abstract
The National Inquiry into Racist Violence collaborated with the National Committee on Violence to produce this report on racist violence in Australia. It discusses the problem of defining what constitutes racist violence; the reasons for establishing the Inquiry and its work to date; findings on the size of the problem, who is victimised and the impact on victims; and measures to counter racist violence. The report provides the perspectives of an Aboriginal woman, an overseas student (Wee Aik Pang) and a community organisation (Community Alert against Racism and Violence).
