Description

The purpose of this project was to perform a secondary analysis of the Australian component of the 2000 International Crime Victim Survey (ICVS). The analysis examined the prevalence of firearm ownership compared to the 1992 ICVS; the types of weapons, purpose for owning firearms, and distinguishing characteristics of owners; and the attitudes toward government controls on firearms.
