Description
This project aims to examine trends and patterns in the use of weapons in the commission of armed robbery against banks in Australia (1998 - 2002); and to examine the characteristics of armed robbery of banks, including method of entry, degree of injury to staff, getaway method, amount stolen, day and time of offence, and whether there are any differences in characteristics according to the type of weapon used by the offender.
