Indigenous justice in Australia
Introduction
This section aims to bring together relevant, quality information on Indigenous people and the criminal justice system in Australia.
The National Indigenous Violence and Child Abuse Intelligence Task Force is an important recent initiative that brings together a number of key agencies, including the AIC. The task force page provides an excellent portal to key information and resources.
The Indigenous justice clearinghouse provides a single entry point to access key information about Indigenous justice issues in Australia. The website includes an online forum, a register of Indigenous justice resources and concise research briefs.
The Australian Government Indigenous portal also provides a comprehensive gateway to the broad range of Indigenous issues and services. For other national Indigenous websites, see the links section.
