Abstract: 

Prison HIV peer education is considered the most effective and efficient means of providing HIV education in prisons, and this project, undertaken by the Australian Institute of Criminology and funded by the Commonwealth Department of Human Services and Health, has produced numerous detailed recommendations for the delivery of HIV peer education programs in prisons.

The report also contains valuable information relating to HIV education in Australia as well as overseas.
