This report explores the administration of bail. Firstly, it provides an overview on bail. Secondly, it examines the construction of bail guidelines in Australia for the determination of release on bail using the United States Parole Commissioners' guidelines. Thirdly, it discusses possible operational procedures for the guidelines. Finally, it discusses the decision-making process.
