Abstract
This project determines the prevalence and types of violent crime perpetrated by a sample of 400 regular methamphetamine users from the greater Sydney region. It also determines the circumstances leading to the crime and factors that predicted it. This summary includes the key findings of report and implications for police.
This research summary by Roger Nicholas provides a plain English summary and implications for police for Comparative rates of violent crime amongst methamphetamine and opioid users: Victimisation and offending (NDLERF monograph no. 32).
